Unions demand full employment rights for temporary workers
Unions slammed the government on it's failure to fulfill electoral and 2004 Warwick Agreement commitments to protect the UK's temporary workers with equal employment rights to permanent workers. The government is now coming under increasing pressure to fulfill this commitment and is expected to capitulate soon.
This raises the likelihood of equal employment rights being granted to temporary staff, thus eliminating the benefits of the temporary staffing model. The Aktrion outsourcing model alleviates the client from many of these issues by utilizing Aktrion permanent staff on it's contracts. In addition, by the increased performance and stability of permanent staff (through increased training and management) Aktrion are able to achieve significantly increased efficiency and productivity and thus reduce overall operating costs.
This highly tried and tested Aktrion model is in operation in a vast number of Aktrion's blue chip clients across many sectors, saving literally £millions per annum in production costs to UK industry as a whole and providing a more permanent, stable, skilled, and yet flexible, workforce.
