Facilities Management Contract for Aktrion

Aktrion have recently commenced a new facilities management contract for Agfa Geveart Ltd for the operation and maintenance of their CTP equipment for the printing industry. Agfa has supplied a total of 12 latest technology CTP machines in a multi-miilion pound deal to one of it's major printing customers in the UK. By working with Aktrion and as a new diversification for Agfa under request from it's customer, Agfa have also signed a long term operating and maintenance agreement. This has been made viable by utilizing Aktrion's experience in providing and managing on-site operating and maintenance teams. Aktrion are providing and fully managing the teams of skilled engineers to maintain and operate the equipment.

Training of the engineers on the specific equipment has been done in conjunction with the Agfa both in the UK and in Belgium.

This model has opened a whole new potential business area and revenue stream for Agfa and also benefit's it's end customer by minimising operating and maintenance risks. Consequently, it is a model that Agfa hopes to develop in partnership with Aktrion for other customers.
